Pavo Marinkoivć (Film Director)
Pavo Marinkoivć was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1967. Graduated with a degree in Dramaturgy at the ADU in Zagreb.
His first theatre plays were released in the early 90s and won a lot of domestic awards.
After the 10-year tenure as a commissioning editor for the public broadcaster HRT (1996-2005), he started the career as a free lancing writer-director.
He has made 3 feature films, “Ministry of Love” (2016), “Love Life of a Gentle Coward” (2009), “Trešeta” (2006) and one feature documentary “Occupation,the 27th Picture (2013).
His films were screened on prestigious film festivals such as Montreal World FF, Karlovy Vary IFF, IFF Mannheim-Heidelberg, FF Kerala, Pula FF, Sarajevo FF, Chicago IFF…etc...and won some awards (Mannheim, Pula, Alexandria, Houston, Bergamo, Napoli, Bucharest).
He lives in Vienna and Zagreb.
Dana Duma (Film Critic)
Dana Duma is a film critic based in Bucharest, who publishes in Romanian journals and daily newspapers Contemporanul, Caiete critice, Cotidianul.
The author of several books, such as Self-portraits of Cinema, Gopo, Woody Allen a Jester and a Philosopher, Benjamin Fondane cineaste, she is the editor in chief of the magazines Film and Close up and a PhD professor at the National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale".
She served as FIPRESCI Jury member in several major international film festivals like: Venice Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Locarno International Film Festival, Valladolid International Film Festival
Steve Teers (Film Editor)
Steve Teers is an editor, producer and director of music videos and documentary films with a vast amount of experience.
He has many credits to his name for cable and terrestrial channels, and his work for Channel 5 has ensured he is now a firm favourite amongst their producers.
After a childhood in Coventry immersed in theatre and photography, he graduated in music and dance and spent several years as a professional musician.
Editing on Avid Media Composer since 1994, Steve edited several films like “Inside the Tower of London”, “Queen Victoria and Her Tragic Family”, “Elizabeth: Our Queen”, “Heists: Secrets of the Great Train Robbery” etc.
He’s the manager of Diva Pictures since 1994.
Mihai Fulger (Artistic Director)
Mihai Fulger has been active as a film critic since 2002.
He has been a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) since 2007, as well of the European Film Academy (EFA) since 2018.
He served as FIPRESCI Jury member in several major international film festivals (Berlin, Busan, Cluj, Gijón, Stockholm, Warsaw, etc.).
He is one of the founding editors of the quarterly “Film” magazine, published by the Romanian Filmmakers’ Union (UCIN) since 2013.
He has collaborated with numerous print and online, Romanian and international publications.
Since 2007 he has also worked, in various positions, for many film festivals in Romania.
His first individual book, the volume of interviews “The New Wave in Romanian Cinema”, was awarded the “George Littera” award, for the best film book of the year, by the Film Critics’ Association within UCIN.
He wrote texts for several collective volumes in Romanian, English and German, he translated and edited film books.
Since 2012 he has been working for the Romanian National Film Archive – the Romanian Cinematheque (ANF).
At present he is the artistic director of ANF.
